From the macro and micro economic perspectives, this paper analyzes how to effectively promote the effective use of energy, environmental improvement, renewable energy development, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction, providing scientific basis for the government to formulate low-carbon strategies and policies. Research directions include, but are not limited to, international low-carbon development strategies, low-carbon economic development models, corporate behavior in the context of low-carbon economic transformation, incentive mechanisms for promoting renewable energy development, environmental regulatory policies, and energy efficiency. Supported by research talent platforms such as the National Center for Strategic Research and International Cooperation on Climate Change, the Institute of Ecological Civilization of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Resources and Environment Research Office of the Shandong Academy of Sciences, the Social and Ecological Civilization Department of the Shandong Provincial Party School, and Shandong LinkedIn Business Management Co., Ltd., we jointly carry out national and provincial level low-carbon policy research. It will cooperate with the Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Shandong Province, and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission in their work on low-carbon policies.
