Thiscenter focuses on serving and supporting responses to climate change. It actively participates in the activities organized by the United Nations Commission on Climate Change, and carries out academic research and cooperation in carbon monitoring, carbon verification, carbon trading, carbon finance and low carbon management policies. This center provides China's energy conservation and emission reduction strategies for the responses to climate change, as well as management consultations and suggestions for the national government, Shandong Province and other local governments. Supported by the Center for Foreign Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development of Tsinghua University, and the Research Center for Green Finance Development of Tsinghua University, this center jointly conducts research on environmental risks and global green finance development, providing policy consultation for the development of green finance. This center cooperates with National Development and Reform Commission, Department of Climate Change of Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Shandong Development and Reform Commission, Department of Ecology and Environment, Jinan Branch of People's Bank of China and other institutions in the construction of green finance system.
