On November 21, 2022, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the establishment of the college, the first meeting of the first council of this year was successfully held online.

Zhao Zhongxiu, President of Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Chairman of China International Low Carbon College, Huang Jianzhong, Chairman of China Electronic Energy Conservation Technology Association and Co Chairman of China International Low Carbon College, Pan Jiahua, Member of the Academic Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee of China International Low Carbon College, Yu Zhihong, President and Editor in Chief of the Sustainable Development Economic Guide, Shang Kai, Vice President of China Wanda Group, and Cao Yanqing, Dean of the Institute of System Energy Conservation Technology, Fang Peng, Chairman of Shandong Shengri Environmental Protection New Materials Group Co., Ltd., Fu Demin, Chairman of Sichuan Zhongcarbon Xinwangda Technology Group Co., Ltd., Miao Zhenlu, Chairman of Bonde Technology Holdings Group, Peng Hongfeng, Dean of the School of Finance at Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of China International Low Carbon College, Wang Jingmin, Executive Dean of China International Low Carbon College, and faculty members attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Peng, Secretary General of China Electronic Energy Conservation Technology Association.

After the meeting, the members of the council and academic committee gave constructive guidance on the development of the college, forming the final resolution of the council. After thorough discussion by the council members, a show of hands vote was carried out on the resolution and it was unanimously passed.
